what is it?
Fused glass is created by fusing layers of glass together in the kiln. Create your own design by layering colorful shapes of glass onto a project base. Our staff will help you to use glass cutting tools to create your own shapes. Kiln firing brings those layers together for a smooth finish. Projects include coasters, night lights, sun catchers, + more. Glass Fusion is recommended for ages 10+
how does it work?
Step One: Choose your project! We have a variety of bases from sun-catcher, to soap dish to candle holders.
Step Two: Choose your glass. We have all types of colorful glass to choose from. We will teach you how to alter the glass shape & size with nippers & cutting tools.
Step Three: Create your design. Each piece must be attached to the base glass with our glass glue before we fire it.
Step Four: Leave your glass piece with us. Kiln firing will fuse the glass layers together, smooth the edges & round the corners of your glass masterpiece.
Step Five: Pick up your project.
Please Note: To ensure customer safety, glass fusing is available for customers who have attended our Glass 101 class or a private lesson. If you would like to schedule your own glass lesson please email firstname.lastname@example.org or register below.
